Janet Miller

Janet Miller (Visiting Professor of Theatre Arts)

Janet moved to Kirksville from Los Angeles where she was the Stage Manager for the Shakespeare Festival LA and was the Production Manager and advisor to student Stage Managers for California State University @ Long Beach’s Dept of Theatre.  Janet has also worked on the East coast as the Resident Stage Manager at Cornell’s Department of Theatre as well as Assistant Production Manager for the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Janet holds an MFA in Stage Management and an MA in Theatre History from the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign while working with the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.  Janet was graduated from St Olaf College with BA degrees in Theatre and Religion. 

This year Janet is teaching courses in Intro to Theatre, Acting One, Scenic Design, and Performing Arts Management.
